My lesson with Gabriela was brilliant. I planned in a lesson ahead of a trip to a friend's wedding in Mexico and Gabriela did an amazing job of making the whole lesson about Mexican weddings. This helped me learn the types of questions and conversations i was likely to have at the wedding, such as - how do you know the bride and groom, and other introductory type of questions. The lesson also covered typical traditions to expect at a Mexican wedding as well which i really enjoyed as there were a few i had not heard of but has made me look forward to the trip even more. The interactive platform really helped with this as Gabriela was able to show me pictures of other weddings and as quite a visual learner this also helped when learning new phrases or words as well.
I would definitely recommend taking a bespoke lesson again ahead of a trip or a specific event as it definitely made me feel much more comfortable and confident in my speaking.

I had a great Spanish lesson with Andrea. I was able to communicate before the lesson that I am a total beginner and wanted to learn some basic phrases to use on my family holiday to Spain which meant that the lesson was tailored perfectly to what I needed to know. Andrea scaffolded the lesson by learning the alphabet first and then went on to basic phrases which helped my pronounce the words correctly and she rounded off the lesson with a Spanish conversation with a visual aid to help me remember what I had learnt. Andrea was engaging as a teacher and very patient as languages are not my strong point! After the lesson she sent over the lesson notes so that I could practice what we had learnt.
I would give the lesson 5 stars. Easy to book, enjoyable and I learnt a lot within the hour.

I was surprised that the lesson was shaped to my specific needs and it was great how much that my teacher Gabriela put into the lesson and even shared the content after with me. It was fantastic on the plane, by the time I got there I felt confident with things like ordering tacos and getting a taxi. This really helped me with my trip to Mexico City as a complete beginner to Spanish.

I really enjoyed my lesson with Greta, she was very friendly and welcoming. She spoke very clearly and was patient with me which I asked questions. She allowed me plenty of time to practise my speaking skills and corrected me when I used European Spanish, with the correct word for Mexico which will be super helpful for my trip next year thank you! Loving my classes with Raquel so far, thank you! We have been practising conversation for my upcoming trip to Galicia in Spain. In particular role play of ordering at a restaurant and practising using the conditional tense, then recapping what we learnt at the end of the lesson. I love that we are able to do our whole 50 minute lesson in Spanish, its given me a real confidence boost! Thank you for your patience, and making it enjoyable :)
